Longtime “Ridiculousness” co-host Steelo Brim has put his three-bedroom, four-bath house in Toluca Lake, CA, on the market for $1.4 million.
Brim, 29, has appeared on the popular MTV comedy series alongside fellow hosts Rob Dyrdek and Chanel West Coast since the show premiered in mid-2011.
He picked up the house in 2015 for $1.24 million. Over the past two years, he’s focused on turning the backyard into an entertainment oasis, listing agent Sara Deskins says. The garage was turned into a game room/home theater, and a heated pool and spa with three waterfalls were added.
The neighborhood is largely filled with young families living in tidy, single-story homes with two to three bedrooms. Brim’s house was renovated from top to bottom; its 16-foot ceilings and open floor plan make it feel larger than its listed 3,000 square feet.
The home’s yellow front door opens to a large living room with built-in bookcase and french doors which open to a private deck with its own water feature. The living room flows into the kitchen, which has a walk-in wine room, breakfast island, subway tile backsplash, and high-end appliances.
The master bedroom has its own fireplace and french doors which open to the backyard. The master bath has a walk-in glass shower, soaking tub, twin vanities, and built-in makeup table.
Brim’s love of pop culture is obvious in the listing photos: In the living room, Darth Vader and stormtrooper helmets line his bookcase, and Vinylmation figurines of Batman, the Joker, and Astro Boy frame a large window. The game room features pixel art of Mike Tyson, an arcade cabinet, and jerseys from Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox, Brim’s hometown teams.
“West Toluca Lake is turning into a hot spot,” Deskins says. “It’s 10 minutes to Hollywood, 10 minutes to Studio City, 10 minutes to Warner Bros. and Disney. It’s a pretty ideal location for someone who works for the studios.”
